One thing I noticed with the website overall is that Accuracy is sometimes...weird; same gearset (in-game and on that website) giving two different accuracies (usually it has 1 more point over what is in-game). Wonder if this is a side-effect of that errorWith the FFXIV.Ariyala set, it gives you a total accuracy of: 483. Let's see if the Alpaku Food Buff is actually correct.
483/100=4.83*2 = 9.66 + 483 = 492.66
That isn't 493 accuracy.
It's not good because it doesn't calculate food buffs properly. I'm going to contact the maker of ffxiv.ariyala to fix his food.
Yup. His site rounds-up numbers. That's why I stopped using it the second I noticed this error.
I don't particularly agree with the b.i.s. setup located on the front page. 495 accuracy is too low to deal with the Golems, especially for Dragoon when taking into account the spike damage. Dragoon almost always (95%) has first hate on one of the three Golems that appears in the waves. Unless people plan to miss a lot, I don't think this is a good setup. I have completed T9 at 508 accuracy with about 1-2% miss rate on Golems, so I imagine it's significantly higher at 495. Personally, the b.i.s setup I calculated is:
Weapon: High Allagan Spear
Head: High Allagan Headgear of Maiming
Body: High Allagan Cuirass
Gloves: High Allagan Gauntlets of Maiming
Legs: High Allagan Trousers of Maiming
Feet: Astrum Sabatons
Waist: High Allagan Waist of Maiming
Neck: High Allagan Choker of Striking
Wrist: High Allagan Bracelets of Striking
Ring1: Gloam Ring
Ring2: High Allagan Ring of Striking
Pre-Food: 509 accuracy, 460 crit, 310 det, and 436 skill speed
HQ Buttons: 509 accuracy, 469.2 crit, 325.5 det, and 436 skill speed after.
I find this much more sustainable, considering making up a lost buffed full thrust is a lot if it happens.
(and yes this is not my main account).

If you're so concerned about that 1-2% miss, why don't you then aim for the 515 accuracy cap instead and build your set around that?
I mean you're gimping yourself either way, if your primary concern is to hit 100% when tanking a golem for a few seconds.
In which case, it should be:
High Allagan Spear
High Allagan Headgear of Maiming
Suit of Astrum Mail
Astrum Armguards
High Allagan Belt of Maiming
Astrum Hose
Astrum Sabatons
High Allagan Choker of Slaying
High Allagan Earrings of Slaying
Gloam Wristlets
Gloam Ring
High Allagan Ring of Slaying
Buttons in Blanket HQ
ACC: 515
CRIT: 517
DET: 302
SS: 412

Considering the Golem phase is timed I don't think a complete 100% accuracy amount is mandatory, but it should be strictly 1% miss rate or lower. At 495 it's definitely has to be at least 3%+. It's more of a find the sweet spot where you can take a little risk while not taking so much that makes it unmanageable, which in my opinion 495 is unmanageable.
I mean, the difference between 509-515 accuracy is 0.5 extra DPS (Approx.). A miss would be a bigger burden during Golems than it would to have that 0.5 extra DPS.
But, it does also make a lot of sense :P That's exactly why I aimed for 463-465 for Turn 5, because of the 20s-ish we'll be attacking Asclepius from the Front.

Whoa, I just remembered something.. I think it was PArcher, a while back ago, wondering if you can equip both the Gloam ring and Weathered Gloam ring.. Yes, you can. I ran across a tank wearing the Noct and Weathered Noct ring at the same time.
Yup ^^. The SMN set I made for the one in my static has both Weathered and Unweathered Evenstar Rings. It's the highest DMG output set I've made so far with T0rins Simulator.

Edit: Oops.. lol
Not sure what I was thinking.. That is a little strange, I know Spell speed isn't as highly weighted for SMN as BLM, but seems like the Int (from High Allagan) would make a bigger difference
