They should add a filter for PF that only allows characters who have cleared the content before to join. That will weed out alot of people joining farm parties when they haven't even seen the fight.

Stop it, you're making too much sense and will break the game.
I agree/would love this!
Current State of End-Game Contents
*sends hugs* people can suck, try to hang out with friendly peoplethe party finder is a good way to meet up on the same server - good luck! (I'm on gilgamesh if you're there)
This MMO have some of the most gross, rude and stupid community in any MMO i played ever.
I CAN'T even desribe what kind of words i met in this game....i didnt even know such existed in the first place. Ingame mechanic and class mechanic statest that each role have only one path to go. You can't play different your class, you can't pull different than everyone, you can't do runs different than any other runs.
Example: depends on group of course. Coil Turn 2: there are 2 ways to do it i think
- race DPS after 1 click on last boss
- rod of allagan pass
Of course some people did it one way in their groups and then some time decided to go DF. You met them and do it your way and there shitstorm begins...
It's just one example... That's why everyone hates randoms, hates DF and random groups. I hate daily roulettes for this reason too. Use flash wrong, use tomahowk wrong, pull to much, pull to low...shitstorm everytime.
Good idea, one of the problems then though might be the length of time it would take for a 'all first timer' group to form.
Unless maybe they gave out commendations (say 5 at a time) each time an experienced player runs it again with first timers. Restrict that to 1 or 2 players in each run maybe with an option in DF to set yourself as a 'Helper'
This would also make the final few missions of the main story much more epic with everyone seeing everything for the first time. I still haven't watched the cut scenes to this day because you get thrown straight into speed runs with people running the instances for the 100th time.

Your example isn't a very good one IMO. The reason people had an issue with it was because, by enraging the boss, you were able to avoid ALL of the fights mechanics. No other fight in coil is like this(unless someone's found an exploit). Some people thought it was cheap because it was so mind numbly easy(stand in one spot, spam heals and DPS the boss then win) and boring because it took twice the amount of time rot method did.
I don't think anyone really cares that much about T2 anymore, since it's outdated content(as in, doesn't have the top tier gear anymore).
Currently there's no content in the game that's as controversial, strategy wise, as T2 is or was.

You haven't even beat turn 6....Memorizing a series of steps and rules is not a game.
It's a mindless task that most kids would jump through hoops to get away from in school.
Old MMOs had fights that required strategy, planning, and skill.
This MMO requires memorizing a sequence, repetitive spamming of the same few abilities, and goodluck with server lag
The only fun in this is "figuring out" the fight.
Since you can't figure out "alternative strategies" since there really aren't any.
I know some people who no matter how many videos they watch, doing is better than watching.
I personally look up guides/videos of new fights but to tell the truth, that only helps to a certain degree. It's nice to know what to expect but actually doing the battle is a lot different and sometimes more difficult than the video suggests.
If you are being harassed report it, plain and simple SE has a strict policy on harassment. (note the date, time, dungeon, and data server.) I have seen these jerks literally screaming at low level players in low level dungeons, when I see it happen I report it. If the community rolls over and does nothing, that kind of behavior will continue, if the community doesn't tolerate it, it will cease. Toxic behavior is unacceptable, and makes people stop playing games.
Simple rule of thumb, if you don't have time to deal with the learning curve of people, don't pug.

To put it simply.
It's not a single player game. You have to do what's best for the group, not for just yourself. And going into a fight blind is not best for the group.
