Viera don't have any tails at all.

If Yugiri is a new race then it's likely to be the dragon-like one cause the devs kept talking about it in interviews and such.

I'd have to agree that something along the lines of a reptile based race is likely, her tail looks somewhat like a reptile one and the ears remind me of the Bangaa. In addition we already have a race based on an animal with fur so one that is scaly wouldn't be too odd really.

Yup - Sounds to me its gonna be Bangaa: If some of you watched the cutscene, she spurts it out that she chose to hide her face cause in her region, people tend to shun them and blablabla..

It's very clearly a ronso.

I can tell by is masculine figure and Ronso racial features just look at that horn!.

But it in all seriousness it would seem that the ears are a little too low down for a rabbit, but I could be wrong.
Just hope its something completely different from what we have now.



Sadly thats what Yoshida wanted. Some sort of beastmen race or non-human, simply to create more of a variety (as most MMORPGs would offer)

While there is nothing to stop Yoshida's team from re-imagining the Bangaa, Yugirii does not have a Bangaa's long snout. Unless of course she was the victim of a hate crime and they chopped it off.

Variety is important. All the human-like fantasy archetypes are covered by the actual races, so having a beast race would be a good thing in my opinion. It would also enforce Eorzea's position as a society that wants to integrate all kinds of sentients into it, something that right now has only been shown in Limsa.

Still hoping that the"ears" people are speculating on are actually eyes. We need more slug people. I need me a yoshi to ride.

1. It is confirmed there will be a new race introduced.

2. The story that came with Lady Yugiri sets the stage very much for the race being from her land.

3. Lady Yugiri is clearly a new race we have not seen, and is clearly not a bunny girl.



I took this pic in game, from the story. From this pic you can see clearly, Yugiri has a scaled tail (like some kind of serpent or dragon kin), also she has two large protrusions from her head that could be ears or horns possibly?

In anycase unless Viera grew snake tails, I doubt it is the bunny girl most people seem to think she is.
