If you look at her tail it is more reptilian then anything. The Viera have bunny like tails while Yugiri's is long and as I said more reptilian. I would like to propose the idea she is a Bangaa.

Most likely not horns, as they move during a couple of the cutscenes.

Freya's race would be cool but I'd be okay if they made up something new just for ffxiv.

I'd have to agree that something along the lines of a reptile based race is likely, her tail looks somewhat like a reptile one and the ears remind me of the Bangaa. In addition we already have a race based on an animal with fur so one that is scaly wouldn't be too odd really.

I really hope it's not a rabbit. While I do enjoy the fur-type races in games, it would be a bit overwhelming if 2 of the races were fur-related.
If they added a reptile or something, and then maybe in the future added a rabbit race, it'd be a lot more balanced in terms of diversity. I'd have no issue seeing a rabbit race in the future, but right now with Mi'qote I'm afraid it will become too much of a fur-based game instead of diversity with reptiles or another type of race.

Yeah. It's a bunnygirl. SE already announced they wer adding them in the first expansion. They won the poll by a landslide.

Winning in a poll is NOT them announcing that they will be added in the expansion. We actually have no idea if it is a bunny girl at all.
