I watched a video for Hydra. The people that did the vid knew what they were doing and made it look easy. But the reality was that when I did the fight, several people were new and we wiped a lot. So now I don't bother with videos because I learn better by doing the fights. I just join learning parties for new content or content I haven't done. So far I haven't had many issues.

Hydra is a simple fight with just like two main mechanics. When you start doing harder content that require more knowledge you going to end up dying often and asking the party why this and that while wiping for hours.

I went into Coil Turns 1, 2, and 3 blind (and not on my main job for 3) and did fine. If you go in with experienced people and know how to play your job, it's easy enough to figure out what you're supposed to do by following the example of people in the party. But like I said, I join learning parties because they work better for me than watching a video.

T3 you can do this naked if you try hard enough and sacrifice a few allies

Turn 1 is pretty easy. If you're dd you just stand around and do damage while avoiding glowing tiles.
Turn 2 is just enrage burn.
Turn 3 - Err jump around?

Was this pre echo or post echo?

Most players are over geared for the coils now + 20 percent buff. Try to play your style t5+ and see if you still feel the same way.
