I don't get why you're doing so much fuss.

I use DF eery single day with my WAR. If a SMN is using Titan, so be it, he probably forgotten to switch and he'll swiftcast Garuda in a few seconds, I don't care, that's not my job to care about his DPS. IF he thinks I will fail, he probably met some serious tanking retards, and I will show him how wrong he was and, no, I won't feel insulted.
But if I cannot keep the mobs (unless someone is attacking them wile I'm pulling a second pack) or survive, I won't whine over the SMN for using Titan, but against me or the healer.

And ffs, using Titan saved a wipe. Yes, he could swiftcast him, but when he's summoned, he's not tanking.

The OP is full of nonsense if the tank pulled what the OP said. Only by the grace of the 12 or extremely piss poor dps could Titan-Egi come close to holding threat on 1-2 mobs, let alone 9-10 (that's how many are in the first area before transition of Pharos, and they can hit pretty hard). Titan just doesn't do enough damage, nor does he have an adequate cooldown suite for that. Then there's the part of healing Titan through said pack of mobs. A SMN with i90 caster gear will have Titan-Egi with roughly the same hit points as a WAR, but with no +20% healing received and only 1 mitigation cooldown (20s duration with a 120s cooldown). If an i90+ WAR got mowed through by that pack, Titan-Egi would get mowed through twice as fast.

What I'm guessing is the tank was used to groups he could make that large pull with. What he got with this group was poor dps (including an incompetent SMN). That, or that tank was trolling them because he thought the incompetent SMN was trolling him.

Anyway, the OP has a history of exaggeration with fantastical stories where he's the hero that saves every run, while everybody else is an incompetent buffoon he has to carry through. That, and he thinks Foresight will help him survive as an ACN lol

Ok so I now have my ACN leveled to 50, SMN job taken and all class quests unlocked.

I've done some lvl50 content and now have my Levi Ex Weapon.

I can now say with some "merit" that from what you've said about this run you were either being a troll or playing poorly. xD

As someone who mains SMN, I can tell you with complete merit that you are 100% correct (just as other SMN mains have said-SHOCKING!)

Now that I've come this far, I regret having read all this up til now.

Big picture: Regardless of the outcomes, your actions/words basically implied, "Until I am assured you can do your job, I'm going to prepare to do it". Sure, you're entitled to that feeling, but it does reflect poorly on you to simply go in believing others just can't do their job. I wouldn't enter a hospital and grab medical records or surgical tools and call it "assurance until I know records techs or surgeons can do their job".

Attacking the credibility of others who called you on this makes you look defensive. If you're truly great, you don't need to be defensive. And the grammar policing/educated stance is simply petty. Name-calling, insulting, and being holier-than-thou only detract from what I assume was originally meant to be a brag on your ability to operate outside of your class' defined scope of responsibilities. . .
