So, appearantly I got added to a 'list'

Me i have a personal list, with some guys greed on everything, even if they don't and never will play the class at all.

Then i remember them, and don't let them come in my farm party, because my farm party is good, if you need something tell us, if you greed something you don't have the class at all, you are a bad guys, because someone need it so much more than you.

So i take my pen and a paper and i write the name.

The whole point of greed is to roll if you want. That's why it's CALLED greed. And you have no idea if any person that rolls is going to play that class or not. It isn't as though we are restricted from playing a class. Just because that class isn't 50 yet doesn't mean it isn't on that person's list of classes they are working on.

For instance: I have PLD and WHM at 50. I have had BLM weapons and armor sitting on my retainers for a long while now and have it up to 45 now. I plan to finish it soon. I also have gear for my Monk waiting who is only at 35, but on the way up. I'm going to level them all eventually, just like most of the people greeding gear that is bound to them.

People who join parties, agree not to greed on specific parts, then greed anyway = douchebags, blacklist them all you want. I hope a meteor falls on their PC.

I keep seeing people mention that everyone deserves a "fair shot" at the locked gear. I'm confused. How is the system not fair? They announce ahead of time that the first drop of an item is reserved for them. They organized the party, set tactics, and lead the run. By joining the party you are agreeing to follow their direction and respect the rules they set up front. That means that you respect their right to lock that piece of gear. If you want a "fair shot" at that piece of gear: solo queue in DF. Alternatively, and here's a novel concept, you can make your own PF group and lock the gear you want for yourself. Hell, you can set the rules up front however you want. Once again, if you don't like the rules don't join. Just quit crying about how "unfair" it is. No one is really listening and nobody really cares.

Only thing that annoys me about lock parties is when they lock the job no one is playing. I've seen a couple t2 lock tank legs while the only tank slot was open. Seen it with healer pieces as well and no healers in the PF.

I once joined a Mog ex party as a tank. They had a tank slot open and they seemed to be waiting all night I noticed.
So I join up, and my bad I didn't read everything. They ask what I want. I say Ribbon of Fending. They mentioned it's locked.
I apologize to them for not reading and tell them I'll take my leave, since I didn't want anything else. Literally everyone was ragging on the party leader for locking it when we need a tank so badly. But he didn't wanna budge, and I left. That was that.

Hope they got someone else in the end.
