There is no one to call you a he if you are a she when playing a single player console game. Sorry I should have said "non mmo" I didn't realize people's skulls were so thick they couldn't get the gist of a simple point being made, apparently the 3 people who liked the status were capable of doing so. Meh, in the end I don't call anyone a he or a she, I call them by their class. Healer, can you handle big pulls? Ok cool. DRG please pull boss so we can lock monkey and plant out.

I got an idea what about referring to everyone as a He/She. Or is this offensive to the OP due to their transgender nature too.

This is actually sociologically referred to as the "standard." In our society, at least, that would involve being a white, middle aged, middle class, hetero male. Everything else is considered the "other" and is always measured against the standard. Its accepted by everyone, not just women (which is kind of insulting to them for you to phrase as such, btw) and it won't change until all of society changes it.

Quick edit: This is why no one "sees" it or it has" rubbed off" on everyone to use your words.

    That is all.

Sorry, I've really contributed nothing to this thread....

    Low jabs very nice.

Reason I said that is because this game which is an MMO is on more than 1 console. So your point is easy to get lost in translation.

Honestly this isn't something you should be getting that upset over. You're taking it way too personal especially when you don't know them and they don't know you, let alone even knowing your transgender. They arent calling you "he" becuase you're transgender and are trying to be offensive because they don't even know.
I'm female and I'm not bothered if someone I probably won't party with again calls me he. If after awhile we still continue playing together and become friends, I'll just mention that I'm actually a girl. No big deal.

And if someone wants to correct me when I use the wrong pronoun on someone, go right ahead. Just don't be rude about it. Although I do admit, when a girl says, hey I'm a girl! It can come off as annoying/attention seeking.

It happens to me. I don't know if it's the pink hair or what, but I am referred to as she sometimes. It doesn't bother me at all. I've actually embraced it and am trying to make my character look more androgynous.

People assume I'm male because I play a large-breasted catgirl and like to dress her in skimpy outfits. But I'm female.

I generally assume everyone is the same gender as their character until told otherwise. This is a role playing game, after all. If I'm talking about a character named Barbie Sparkles wearing a pink Spring Dress, I'm going to refer to that character as "her" or "she" because clearly the person controlling that character is comfortable role playing as a female character. If I later find out that the person behind Barbie Sparkles is a man, then I'll refer to him as male in chats or whatever.

Sometimes you can't discern a person's gender from their name. If the character is a Lalafell, depending on what they're wearing, it's also difficult to determine their gender, since both male and female Lalas are built the same. If they're in full plate mail or a robe with a cowl, it's pretty much impossible to tell. I generally default to "she" in these situations. Probalby because I'm female.
