On a dummy though... over 400 easy during a 3min trial.
I got 363 on a dummy before I went in with 450 in the burst phase...was glued to Raf majority of the fight going full HAM so I don't see why my number would be inflated..in the non briar strat with minimal movement during vines (heal through it if ya want) you can keep up rotation with no breaks.

The only reason why I was doing terrible before was because i was saving cooldowns and that when I really didnt need to. If the regular rotation is kept up the whole time its all gravy

Edit: i prefer comparing stats to gear

Doesn't matter, that main stat (STR) is the biggest boost possible outside i110 weapon WP DMG, so comparing gear isn't usless when you are comparing i110 to i90.

    Side note, even my friend agreed who plays drg exceptionally well said, that unless you got perfect rng on pretty much everything that number is still inflated. That or the culling on "app" is not set up correctly. In order to hit that number you'd pretty much never be allowed to move from raf, and I do mean never. Now if you had more i110 I'd be like okay, sure that can happen >.>;

Now even on something like T8 when I had the gear similar to you, while performing perfectly (no movement) I did like 350-365. Depending on if I needed to detonate mines. T8 is essentially a dummy so on something like that I could see the number you post for T6 to be more reasonable.

I won't say anymore on this topic as I may get flamed from following posts. All I wanted to point out is that number seemed inflated and probably shouldn't be used as a basis if other drgs wanted to compare.

If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.

What is everyone else getting to on T8? So far I've only been getting 310-320 DPS (no x-potion) as a brain jack + homing missile target while our MNK is pushing 400+ DPS without having to deal with mechanics. Hoping to get my Liberator this coming week so hopefully it'll bump up my DPS.

Concerning T6, my group goes with the burn method and we're all maintaining about 250-270 DPS the entire duration of the fight (especially when you need to hold DPS in case you get an extra Honey Glaze). 345 DPS is pretty unrealistic for a DRG in that fight considering all the devours, chains, and blighted bouquets.

For those curious about how DRG's do on T7, I've been consistently at the top of our DPS at around 260-270 DPS and we've beaten the enrage by a good minute and a half.

EDIT: i93 when I got these numbers.

That makes me feel better about my 240-250 from our clear this week; I did have a few shrieks to deal with at bad times (right after popping BFB) so I'm sure it can go higher; after next week it should go up by a bit as well since I get my Tome next clear.

On T8 with my allagan spear, I used to get about 350~360, and now with my weathered liberator I get about 360~370+ on T8, our MNK who is equalled geared tends to push about 20 dps more than that. I usually handle Homing missles and brainjack in P2, and I play backup mine/tower runner in P3, but neither of these should significantly impact your DPS.

T7 I almost always pull top dps at about 310~320 by the end, but if there is a wipe it can vary pretty wildly based on shrieks. I found the biggest factor in pushing DPS on T7 is to make sure you turn for voice for the smallest amount of time possible. T7 is hardly a race though, I wouldn't necessarily recommend jeopardizing a victory to push a bit more dps (I've also learned never to pop CDs when shriek is about to go out, that same thing has happened to me far too many times).

T6 I've found to be pretty rough based on RNG on vines/devour marker. I've done anything from 340 to 270 on that. Our BRD always does extremely well here. Not to offend anyone, but 345 on Raff with Atma weapon is pretty unrealistic.

Interesting. At some point I usually run dry on TP with around 420 SS (almost inevitable given how much is attached to our gear) so I'm not sure I'd be pushing those numbers unless I got a well timed Army's Peon. Where else are you squeezing extra DPS? Do you switch back to the Avatar early after fully DoTing the Dreadnoughts perhaps?

Yeah, I feel your pain, I have 465 SS on my T8/9 set. Our Monk and me both run dry pretty fast, so we have our BRD run Paeon for a few ticks each time we use invigorate, so that ties us over till the next invigorate.

I know that Dervy was talking about the optimal rotation dealing with the dreadnaught a while back, so he may have a better solution than myself. Generally in our group the dread pops up just as I am doing FT -> PH, at which point I dragonfire drive, do my CT combo on the dreadnaught, hit HT > ID > Mercy Stroke, and then return to the Avatar.

I get about the same as you in t8 but the equally geared monk is hitting like 430+.

I also wouldn't recommend pushing more dps in t7 unless you're super confident. I had like 270 in our t7 clear this week and we were 3 minutes ahead of enrage. Especially for progression, it's safer to turn a few seconds earlier especially if your internets questionable at times instead of turning at the last second to force dps.

I usually play on the safe side during progression and then if we get through all the mechanics and hit enrage, I start pushing for more dps. Think I had like 250 dps during the t9 clear since I was prioritizing stacking and mechanics over dps.
