The problem is when you are Recieving 3 different characters sending you tells at once. Even when blacklisted you still "recieve" the tell your chat log just doesn't show it so the blacklisted player will still appear as the last tell received. And with that your macro will just try to blist an already blister player.

Sorry, it works well for me on the servers I play on. I only see about 1 or 2 RMT tells a week, even on the NA servers I'm on.

Apart from that, while there is no similar report function yet there is a right click -> black list function already in game.

They just need to adopt a system like WoW or other MMOs. Have no idea why they haven't yet. Been averaging one a minute or so lately. And blocking tells isn't a solution.

You can filter tells, or not, it's up to you. What exactly do you want SE to do? remove Tell function? rmt is a sad reality in any game, just have to accept it .....

I get maybe one or two a week on Balmung. There is no way for developers to codify a solution that won't encroach on legit players. Please temper your frustrations with a dose of reality please.
