WHY IS THERE STILL RMT SPAM!?

I refuse to believe that after over a decade of MMORPG development that Square Enix has been unable to make some sort of RMT detection algorithm to block RMT spam.

I mean, it's not like every single tell isn't coming from a Chinese IP on a level 1 character with a name that resembles something a cat walking across the keyboard would make--oh wait.

Or, at least give us /away or /busy command to block all tells.

Thanks. /away in FFXI used to block tells. I just assumed it didn't when I tried it and still got tells.

/busy = success. I am very happy now.

Diabolos has been getting bombed with RMT the past couple weeks, it was quiet for a while before that, so, dunno.

I've had three different gibberish names /telling me the same copypaste text five times a minute simultaneously. A tell every thirty seconds is pretty much average.

Also, you'd think SE would have figured out by now that they all have completely unpronounceable garbage for character names.

I came from Ragnarok and it wasn't that bad there. It's TERRIBLE on Gilgamesh.
