There were so many types of nms. Some drops were rare/ex and not camped as often, there were ones that popped in lvling areas just to be annoying such as Guivre, ones in BCNMS, HNMS in high level areas that were hard to get to, etc. The fights were much more varied and fun rather than hitting one button over and over.
