Well, in the sense that you didn't have anything other than your opinion to base it on, I'd call it ass-pulled. If it happens to be accurate, well, I'd lose faith in SE, but I'd still call it the same thing. It's just the phrase I use to mean "completely made up."![]()
It can't pulled from nether regions if nobody knows the number in question. So you calling it that is very harassing. That is like calling a color you see compared to someone else "pulled from their ass," because it isn't your opinion.

Relax, nobody was attacking you, it's a figure of speech.

I didn't get defensive. When someone inaccurately describes my statement when someone asks me to give my opinion, I will correct it.
Then this whole thread is pulled out of someone's ass. ^Comment above
Love how if someone disagrees with your opinion, it is "pulling it out of your ass." But when someone agrees with your opinion, you are basically an SE Developer ^-^ GG forumers

Well depending how its implemented, the completion bonus at the end could make it better. after all, a soloist didnt get much sp from regular monsters in leves. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think much is changing as far as solo play is concerned. All that's being done is incentive to do leves as a group is being removed. I don't think the base SP for leves is being boosted at all. Options to rank up are being taken away here, we're not being given more options (as far as we know).
Essentially lets say a fully linked leve used to give you 20k sp for killing all the monsters, now they reduce the effectiveness of linking for 4 links by half, but they give you 10k sp for completion. the amount of sp for a group is still at best 20k sp, but now the solo dude, who had no access to leve link buffs, will probably get like 3k or 4k for the kills, but get 10k for competion.
It basically makes it way more beneficial than it used to be for soloers, but you still get more when linked, just not as much more. The advantage linkers will have now, is getting a better bonus on top of the bonus, with difficulty and time of completition, of course that will require better overall play.
the question becomes though, how will this make leve linking not the prefered tactic, even if they drop the benefit of linking lower.... hmm i wonder if you can get the SP on completion if you dont have the leve, that may be the deciding factor
That constructive info being said, this thread, on failing leves, can finally die. May it burn.
this is where you are more than likely wrong. by removing the fail method people are not going to be willing to get into a leve party for 6+ hours. if they nerf it too much they will be done solo then party up to grind afterwards. once again hopefully i will have either all capped classes by then or at least 1 more at cap.honestly i think this idea that leves become solo only is innaccurate,
when they say they are going to be solo content they mean, solo players will get more benefit from them than they used to, as in solo players will have a viable means of leveling up.
Doesnt mean groups wont also get benefit, sp reward changing for time of completion and difficulty more directly benefits groups.
the only thing that is getting nerfed is fail a leve strategy, and leve linking to god level sp. lets be honest, 1k sp, for a monster that automatically has less hp than its in the field compatriot, is kind of foolish, especially for "group content". Group content should actually have more hp, it was pretty backward before.
that said, im not a fan of them nerfing the sp available over all, but just the skill point change alone is going to lower your SP, remember having incredibly hax stats for most of your replaying jobs on other classes? well now you will be as gimp as a new player. And i can tell you having played with my friends who just started, the effect of having stats is not small.
