So what you're saying is, because you mess around with an MMO a few hours a week. It's ok for them to postpone it for players like you?Do you people understand that for players like me that can only get the time to grind atma 5 hours a week, i will obtain my atma in like a month. THEN I have to geth 13500 myth. The rate I accumulate them now is something like 700-800 per week. This mean i'm gonna get Animus in like 6 month ++. This mean patch 2.3 and surely patch 2.4. This mean more quests about relic.
Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!! I so don't care that the quest is postpone. Will it be ever possible to finish the relic quests for atma / animus / novus for a casual player????? Is this weapon only for pure grinders and no lifers??? Because I can't see the end of it for myself
hmm well the thing did come out faster than expected and caught a lot of ppl off-guard.
however, if they want ppls to catch up they really need to fix the rng % of the current atmas....
thats it. they will make zodiac easier but atma's are still a pain in the ass lol.
2.25 patch may do that. Next phase of Zodiac ( Novus?) is delayed probably due to them fixing the Zodiac quest they already have out now. ( Yes they mention other reasons as to why it's delayed) but I think Atma drop rate may have gotten a buff ( I hope so).
I didn't said i didn't want them to release content, i said i don't care about it being postpone What i'm saying is that in a MMO, you have to please everybody to do a great job, hardcore, elistist, casual, new player, etc... etc... So they MUST cut the apple in half and give some candy to every type of player.
So they must
1 - Release new relic quest line (for hardcore)
2 - Adjust the current questline (RNG + change book cost) (for casual)
3 - Make the quests attainable before a decade (for new player PS4, etc....)
This way everybody is happy. The end. That would be fantastic, I action per player type

Not to side with any "one apple" but Relic/Zodiac quest is suppose to take a considerable amounts of time to obtain. What's the point of calling it a relic/zodiac if it's quickly obtained?
Make it easy (like relic) hardcores get it in less than a day, make it hard casuals can take up to 5-6 months to obtain. The goal is for these types of long quest is to make it so hardcore players have a hard time getting it ( but not this atma grind fest lol). It's called a relic/zodiac for a reason :P.
Drop the damn 1500 book costs. They marketed Zodiac weapons as breaking the grind monotony yet you have to either grind out the 9 books or casually play for 1 year to get the animus... which isn't even top tier.
1000 per book is fine. It's like buying a piece of myth gear, but ~2 myth gear for 1 book? On top of having to spend HOURS (usually) for 1 FATE to spawn?
C'mon.
Not to mention the people who have the animus have access to either "AOE favored myth farm parties (cough cough summoners/mages/bards) or have access to geared friends who can afford to myth spam for hours on end with you.
This "myth intensive" animus portion is discriminatory and against everything they marketed.
They never marketed the zodiak quest, they mentioned it in a couple live letters, and they said it would be time consuming and involve low drop rates. Atmas are low drop rates, like they said, and farming mythology is time consuming just like they said.
Ok then i'm gonna say this. In theory, the majority of people must get what they want because by concept, more people will be happy.
For a video game, MMO, social and interactive and opinionfull gamers,
Why the producer don't give the majority what they want???? Even if the majority wants stupid things, the majority is always right!
Think about it carefully. Would it be THAT bad if they change the atma drop rate from 1% to 5%??? whould it be THAT bad if they changed the cost from 1500 to 100??
do this and you will never see a thread complaining about atma again.
