Yay for once again telling us you will release something at "X" date, then once again postponing it because your people can't get their job done in a timely manner.

Nothing to do with "time" they simply see not many people have gotten their animus, so they are taking the extra time to take all the feedback provided and make the next part of the Zodiac quest better.
I personally think this is a smart move. no need to rush and have more hot heads then we have now :P.I know some of our players have been looking forward to the continuation of the Zodiac Weapons quests that I mentioned in the recent letter LIVE, but the release of these new quests has been postponed. Our reasoning for this decision is, in brief:
-Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon.
-We would like to incorporate feedback regarding the difficulty of the Zodiac Weapon quests.
-We are working to increase the number of locations where materials for the next upgrade can be obtained.

Drop the damn 1500 book costs. They marketed Zodiac weapons as breaking the grind monotony yet you have to either grind out the 9 books or casually play for 1 year to get the animus... which isn't even top tier.
1000 per book is fine. It's like buying a piece of myth gear, but ~2 myth gear for 1 book? On top of having to spend HOURS (usually) for 1 FATE to spawn?
C'mon.
Not to mention the people who have the animus have access to either "AOE favored myth farm parties (cough cough summoners/mages/bards) or have access to geared friends who can afford to myth spam for hours on end with you.
This "myth intensive" animus portion is discriminatory and against everything they marketed.

They never marketed the zodiak quest, they mentioned it in a couple live letters, and they said it would be time consuming and involve low drop rates. Atmas are low drop rates, like they said, and farming mythology is time consuming just like they said.
book cost is fine. if you ONLY do your dailys, then that is a book in 4-5 days. dailys only take about 2hrs-3hrs depending on the teams and thats accounting for fails on trial roulette and long q times. if you do 2-4 50 tome runs on top of your dailys then you can have the book in 3 days exact.
~4 days is ample enough time to complete a book for a casual player.
So if you are very casual and only try to do 1 book on a weekly basis, you can complete it in ~9 weeks.
1 year is a total exaggeration.
Atma grind is the only thing that needs a tiny bit of help. can still be through current system. just buff up the drop rate a tiny bit.

It would be nice if they upped the respawn rate for fates included in the books. Waiting hours for a fate to spawn only to have it killed in a couple min (or less) is extremely boring. true. but given the current system. 4 days you should be able to get all the fates for the book. though personally a small buff to the respawn rate would be nice so i do agree with that

I didn't realize Duty gave that much myth. Then again if you factor in the wait time for DPS queues... it's still a long time. Oh well... I just want that glow.book cost is fine. if you ONLY do your dailys, then that is a book in 4-5 days. dailys only take about 2hrs-3hrs depending on the teams and thats accounting for fails on trial roulette and long q times. if you do 2-4 50 tome runs on top of your dailys then you can have the book in 3 days exact.

If only they had a way to reduce your que times if don't like how long they are on a dps class. I know people will whine "I don't want to play a tank or healer, so they shouldn't make me." Well the good thing is you don't have to, but part of playing a dps class is dealing with the fact that everyone and their mom plays one too. You see it becomes a choice, deal with dps ques, or level up a tank or healer so you don't have to deal with dps ques
