While it's true the "JPN/Server Time" method is a case of people being tricked by confirmation bias, it does help "grinding fatigue" by making you change venue.Just to let you know, that whole method people been trying doesn't work. The time has no effect on the drops. If there was a trick to getting atma, Square would have given you some means of finding it out. Atma's are a 2% drop rate item. It's all up to the RNG. If you don't get one, that sucks but it's the way it works.
Well to be honest, no one should be out there all day grinding for them. Should be breaking up the grind with other activities regularly to give yourself a break from it. People could probably try to pass off doing a dungeon once an hour as a method for making atma grinding easier, and people would believe it lol.
Go back and look at everything. It's never obvious, but there is always something there to assist you in figuring things out. If it's not left totally to an RNG, then they will drop subtle hints at things.
