I don't know about ya'll server... but we are already having massive overcrowding issues in Ul'dah on my server. There are so many retainers in the wards you can NOT put up any more, and have to go to the bell in the adventurer's guild to summon your retainer to grab anything off of them.
I would love for them to fix this. I don't mind if they link all of the wards together as long as they make them larger, it would be nice since they seem to be locking guild marks to the city the guild is in. One way or another they need to fix the wards, how do they expect us to sell stuff if you can't even get a retainer up in Ul'dah... and the other two cities are dead until they make these changes.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.

I don't know how, why, what and if (wha...?) did Ul'dah become the city-state where everyone has to live. That's pretty sad, because the other city-states are pretty cool too, even more than Ul'dah!I don't know about ya'll server... but we are already having massive overcrowding issues in Ul'dah on my server. My suggestion is to take those features in Ul'dah that let the players to live in that city instead of Limsa and Gridania, and put those features in the other cities.
Man, I don't like the fact that everybody has to live in Ul'dah. In fact, everybody has to live in Eorzea.
making instanaeous transport and guildmarks in certain places may lead to repopulation of the MW, people who are shopping may go to all three, if its fast and easy. It still probably needs another advantage though

It's in between LL and Gridania, it has two of the most rewarding leves, and because everyone is there, it has the most retainers in its wards.I don't know how, why, what and if (wha...?) did Ul'dah become the city-state where everyone has to live. Problem being is Ul'dah is a central point. The story quests lead you there. People will always gather there till they fix transportation methods, link the wards together, set up a world grouping system, etc etc. Spending 3 anima a day or walking 10-15mins to get to the "busy" town is a pain in the arse. And thats just getting to Ul'dah now you have to go back home.I don't know how, why, what and if (wha...?) did Ul'dah become the city-state where everyone has to live. The advantage for me to stay in Limsa Lominsa over Ul'dah is the use of the Master Forge. I cannot get that in any other city.
