    Market Wards/City-states Repopulation

    With the guild marks becoming more available to each city the guild is actually in, a question arose in my head.

    Will they link the market wards between the city-states?

    I can't help but feel, even with incentives to go to other areas such as Limsa and Gridania, why both if a majority of the items being sold are still in Ul'dah?

    Has a rep already commented on if there will be a linking of the three city-state markets? I know if I could grab any item from a linked market I'd actually stay in either of the other two cities vs Ul'dah.

    As the crappy crafter that I am. My leatherworking skill is crap, only rank 22. I would like to go to Gridania to use the mastershop. unfortunately what happens if I run out of materials? I go to the empty market ward and get nothing? I don't want to waste anima teleporting between the two cities every few hours.

    It isn't realistic, but it's annoying to go Uldah every time you want to buy materials.

    What they need to do and they should have done from the start is link all the city state markets, give everyone 1 retainer, and just increase the inventory slots on the retainer for each retainer they give us.

    maybe add some quests to increase the slots, something to make it more simple, i hate going from 1 ward to another just to check where my stuff is, if i forget where it is its a hassle and a waste of time to find which retainer i put it on. or i try to keep all the types of each item on 1 retainer so i dont waste space and i have to keep going back and forth, its bullshit. i would put them in one ward but they dont all sell the same shit, so i would lose the tax reduction.

    that brings up another thought, they should just make every ward the same taxes. i highly doubt everyone would jam their retainers in the same area for convienience purposes only, i wouldn't want to be lagging out or struggling to even target a retainer just because its more convienient. or worse dcing because of the lag spike caused by too many toons in one area, or waiting a minute to see my retainer or someone elses spawn.

    What I want is 3 Retainers, but you can only summon 1 Retainer in each City/State Wards, so people have to put retainers in other city if they want to sell a lot of things. Also, it would be greater If they Expand the Wards into 4 Blocks[Variable](Currently 2) but only allow people to use the stalls to summon Retainers. Well, this sounds good to me, but I want to hear what other people have in their mind

    EDIT: and maybe extend The renting time into 2-3 Days albeit you have to pay more Gil. Summoning bell inside Wards would be nice too. All other things to repopulate other cities is by giving each of them advantage that is unique to each city. I.E LL has advantage over BSM,ARM ,CUL, FSH. Uld; WVR, GLD, ALC, MIN. Grid; TAN, CRP, BOT. I.E Items Tax 25% for selling in Non-Advantage Cities, and only 1% Tax in advantage Cities. This is only a concept that just popped in my mindXD and I think there are many flaws

    Especially, we have a Mog house and AH that works well at FFXI.

    I still have no reason to go to Grid, I have all the marks I needed and for example Conjurer has shit guildskills lol. All you need is fast cast and maybe affinity, rest is trash. Archer get Multishot/Affinity rest is trash.

    Fix the trash and might have some incentive.

    While having them all linked to one MW is a good fix in the short term, if FFXIV ever recovers a decent subscription base a combined ward would be massively overcrowded unless changes to the ward structure (something like sharding used in other games) are made.
