And the reality is, that is why I prefer my players to be an "elitist" than "casual". Not only do casuals sound more annoying, half the excuses and insults do not make any sense. I didn't know not standing in fire and me telling you to avoid it is classified under me not having a life 9 (yes I have experienced this first and third person MANY times, I don't just make up random stories to prove a point). The funny thing is, casuals say elitists make mountains out of molehills, hell we see the exact opposite since constructive criticism (YES constructive criticism not insulting like some people in this forums love to twist in such a sick and manipulative sense) gets us harassment reports. Someone in the parser thread said it best, a lot of "elitist" have no problem teaching, it's just the casuals have utter refusal to learn or take ANY form of advice into consideration.I think I'll just leave this amusing link here. Made me laugh.

Hey I consider myself casual player, but even I know red stuff = badI can tell the difference between helpful advice/constructive criticism, and when someone's just being a douche. It's common sense in a dungeon, if I pull too much aggro as a dps I get squished (horribly, as I deserve too, if I make stupid mistakes). I will run to the tank and hide under him (even better if he's a roe, I can hide in him) if I accidentally pull aggro... you're generalizing all people who play casually, we're not all complete idiots
