The low level dungeons are ridiculously easy. How can one become the thing known as "bad?"
It's the high level stuff that tends to be a bit of a challenge, like Titan HM to get relic via DF, heh.

PS3 limitations
A lot of them are "veteran" players, who belittle new players, refuse to help newbies, ragequit when told how to do something better or on the first wipe in difficult content, or think they're really good although they've been carried through most duties and then blame it on other players when they fail in instances where they're not being carried in when they're—in reality—much worse than they think.
A lot of them are geared absurdly well, have been playing for a while and have multiple jobs geared up, maybe looked up on reddit what a job's "perfect rotation" and the single only BiS gear supposedly was, and mistakenly think they are godly.
Basically, they are noobs, which sets them apart from the newbs.
The latter have potential to become great players, the former are doomed to perpetual failure and ridiculousness. They are legion, and they are in literally every game out there.
Last run tank was cursing the DPS just because he did one freaking mistake, then he tried to explain the mechanic but using caps lock and calling him stupid and idiot at the same time, he didn't even mark targets and complained about not killing a specific mob during trash fights.
That's the kind of people i deal almost every dungeon run. Like someone said in another thread (or was this one? I don't remember all 16 pages) you're not demanded to teach people but your help is appreciated. However if you don't have the patience then don't bother, leave that to another person or let him learn the hard way, it's better than dealing with rude teaching.

It is usually the rude elitist who wants to force speedruns on people that are the problem. And they they want to do it on the duty finder and make problems for all the other players.
So much drama!

Well I guess it depends how you derive fun, some people enjoy being the best, others are happy to craft all day long and some are just happy in the middle.
Problem is when you mix these people in random parties sparks tend to fly.
Well the solution is simple. Slow down and communicate and work out something that all members of the random parties can have fun with. It means being less rigid and less hell bent on doing things one way and one way only.
But unfortunately the speedrunner a.k.a elitist jerks are the bad players that refuse to yield or bend or accomodate, when they are the ones with the most capacity to do so. The noob or the undergeared players will need time to learn and get geared up and they are seen as obstacles/leaches/freeloaders in the eyes of the elitist jerk speedrunners who abuse the duty finder and couldn't be bothered to use the party finder.

IDC how you folks label player types there is always good and bad in everyone of them, period.
Not all speed runs are terrible, I joined a group last night where the healers helped me through the fights as I have never done the new Dungeons HM yet. One told me to grab them all to gate, etc for Brayflox HM, only 1 wipe at the last boss. During Halatali HM, the WHM helped explain the fights and we did not have 1 wipe. Outside of that, there are people out there that do speed runs still and willing to help even when doing speed runs, others not so much. Either way, people are being rather enjoyable and there are some that are being not so much. That's the nature of the beast of this game. Now is it because of bad players? It might be, as there are some that are just really bad at the game, however I've seen groups do so much better even with the 1 or 2 bad players. If 1 player is causing a problem and the 3 cannot pick up the slack... um perhaps it's you as well. Just chill, enjoy the game as it is, and stop stressing about a game, it's a game, seriously.
I used to have this problem. I would think to myself, "man. . .what the heck. . ." then I looked at the DF settings and noticed the "E" was checked/highlighted. I unchecked it, never ran into bad players ever again. Though, I still get a little sad when I see another underlined "E" in the party group when I should be the only one but usually they turn out to be ok.
I'm also on a Japanese server so my exposure to stupid is farily limited if not none existent.
