Leviathan Ex Weapons screw over Paladins & White Mages

You are missing the whole point.. BOTH should be upgraded with one. You are justifying them getting less stats because if the weapon is upgraded, you get the same weapon damage. This still leaves them without ilvl 100 stats that any other job would otherwise have. Getting one mirror is ridiculous enough, expecting them to waste 2 (when they most likely have other classes to spend it on as well) on essentially one upgrade is dumb.

You get more stats out of using a Fantasia to switch races to the one with the best stats for your job than upgrading the shields.

Think about that for a minute. Your race having more impact on your class than upgrading this shield does
