Seriously though. I understand and think that it seems a little crazy, but you'll probably get your Atmis shield first which is better and only requires two books (+4-400 hours of FATE grinding).

From a completion stand point (for one class) it's pretty grindy.

Even if you are joking, it's only a matter of time that other jobs will QQ (if not already) and ask for mounts as well.

OP: as a fellow Main PLD, yes it sucks, but other possible venues are there until you get these drops.

Granted, with our limited amount of time, we need to make decisions about what we want and where we want to go.. I've been putting my DOH/DOL ever since patch 2.2 came out, and there's lots to do..
