Please change BLM's new auto-attack.

Melee auto-attacks for casters are functionally pointless, and yet they all have them anyway. i only knew they existed because i was belatedly filling some old hunting log entries and happened to be close enough to the critter to watch my Arcanist smack it with a book when i clicked my mouse.
Oddly enough Archer's auto-attack doesn't require being close enough to smack enemies with my bow.
Why the disparity?

Because bows shoot arrows. Books and staffs not.

BLM has had an auto-attack since Final Fantasy XI.

There was once a time where mages and every other classes didn't had auto-attack in XIV. Every attack needed to be manualy.
