keeping your character while not paying your subscription is equally ridiculous.

You do realize the apples to oranges comparison your making right? Your character is a bit of code on a server that is only accessed when YOU log in. At no other time is it used or needed.

Your FC house is rendered every time someone walks by it, which is totally and completely separate from YOU being in the game. The contents of your yard, style of house etc is all needed pretty much all the time.

Just because you can say something you think is witty doesn't make it true or logical.

they take up just as much when it comes down to it they are just taking them so they don't have to make more wards not because *you don't need it*

unless you wanna get techincal and say one is your character and one is your house,in the end you work hard to make your character build it and get attached.

same goes for your house you get the money you buy the land you buy a house you put things in it and you get attached,the only you you're saying is different is resource usage characters use less so it's not ok to get rid of them but since housing takes up more it's ok.

in the end to make it seem reasonable you will use resource usage as a excuse for them to do this.

Your describing the free company housing as YOUR house. It is not YOURS its the companies. Its shared by MORE THAN 1 person. Therefore, having at least 1 person log in is fair

Please, lets get technical because you're trying to compare apples to oranges here. Hell you're trying to compare apples to rocks.

You cannot compare a character to a house. There is a distinct finite limit to how many houses can be built in a server. Even if SE adds in a half dozen new wards the number of houses that can be built is still finite and if you leave abandoned houses where they are and new houses are built given time those half dozen new wards will be filled and people will be begging for another half dozen to be added. There is not a distinct finite limit to how many characters there can be in the game. The upper bound is limited only by SE's server space which can be increased without needing to make any additions to the game structure like when adding new wards.
