Brayflox HM brought a whole new level to speedruns.
First time there at launch, nobody knew anything, we finished it off in like 12~13 mins. can be done way faster I guess, it's the new WP.
I just finished 2nd boss of Brayflox in 5:12. That's just shy 500 myth an HOUR, given loading in and out of dungeon.
But yeah, speed runs aren't speedy.

Speedruns arent speedy in the same way that fast cars arent fast if an old lady is driving it.

I'll counter that this way: Fast cars aren't fast for very long when a meatball is driving it. Same case for speedruns when a meatball is tanking.
If you are going to do the whole dungeon, the funny thing is you don't win that much by going speedrun over a solid group single target.
When doing one pack pull we were able to go sch dps stance almost full damage, pulling 110 dps or so, and tank dps stance too, on top of like a brd and melee for example each pulling 250 dps or something. We were able to finish the dungeon in about 14 minutes, and the fastest i have ever seen for a speedrun is about 12 minutes. The difference is really not that important, it is NOT like WP of old.
If you go for only first 2 bosses, then things are different, because those 2 minutes are almost entirely won on the first pull. So you can cut a 7min30 run into a 5min30 run or something, which is a massive improvement (twice more important than for a full run). But on second, third and 4th pull going 2 blm, aoe all, tank in tank stance, healer in healer stance, you gain next to nothing compared to a normal run with good ST dps.
Stone Vigil, War + MNK + DRG, war keeps pulling a pack + 1-2 patrols, marks them and dps kills mobs 1 by 1. I cannot dps because it takes all my cds just to keep the tank alive. Was not a very fast run, despite we pulled more mobs...
Brayflox HM, War makes big pulls but cannot maintain enmity, so two BLM don't use Flare. War enrages and kicks the lower hp mage (i voted no) - healer (me) leaves right away (no penalty when team is not full). Not sure if they ever finished that run (past the 1st boss).
