ideas for future patches (hopefully sooner than later)

First I would like to say I do apologize if this post is not in the correct forum.

Hey Dev team, the game is amazing. As a 1.0 player it is nice to see what has been done to FFXIV. I do have some suggestions for the future.

1) New Alliance content: Battle of Carteneau - at the end of 1.0 we had a chance to participate in this event. Great idea, however, the servers were extremely overloaded only very few were to participate. How about the Wandering Minstrel tell the story of the battle and we can have a 24 man alliance.

2) Economy - There are many players that drive the prices down to or below the NPC value. I think it would be very beneficial to have a floor price, such as having pricing go no lower for NQ at 10% above NPC value and HQ no lower than 50%. From the looks of the market boards it seems that players just choose the price that is already on the screen.

3) Free Company - It would be nice to have an option for the FC Masters to have a tax/duties option. Hear me out on this, the FC Master could only use this tax/dues option if they were to obtain a petition from the GC, just like the petition to start the GC. Once the petition has been obtained the master can then set a tax/dues to be gathered from that point forward for all monetary gain from the members, or to simplify things gil from dungeons and enemies. The FC master can choose 1 - 10% as the tax/dues. I know that there will be some flack on this one, however, this will help raise gil for housing or other needs the FC may need. Players will not have to worry about going to the company chest and donating.

I like this idea for having gil into the company bank, however one other twist that could add to the FC without the flack, is that you could make this a benefit for a future rank, as well as don't make it a tax, make it a "bonus", so the user will still get the exact amount that they normally get, but a bonus of .5% (or whatever bonus) is sent to the company bank.

Or rather than a bonus at a given rank, how about a company action that would do this while active.

actually i would like to see this kind of thing as a FC credit spending buff. but that is a good idea

This is where the petition would come in handy, if members do not wish to do this then a leader in that FC should voice that opinion. If players dont like the dues/tax in the FC im sure there are plenty of FC's out there that wont do that.

As long as the Gil goes to a specific chest where the leader can only utilize it for housing, etc. I donated to my FC over 150000 Gil and became inactive for a short while due to school, and got kicked out, and last I hear the leader used it for himself XD

4) Minions - who doesnt like these? How about primal minions? I do realize that we already have a Summoner that kinda has this concept. How cool would it be to have a mini-titan follow you around or garuda?

5) Summoner/Scholar icons - When we "graduate" from arcanist to summoner/scholar how come the icons do not change? Case in point the summon III is Ifrit, why cant the summon II be titan? Same with scholar - the summon I and II could be green or purple fairy to signify which one you want.

I know i'll catch some flack from the community on a few of these (2, 3) but i do think that this will help the game.

more free company chest slots we are so jammed packed with high lvl mats and gear :s

give us something new to spend free company credits on we are breaching 8 million points cant spend them fast enough maybe make an npc that u can trade points for the work craft stations or the gardening plots... even though its too late for us we bought them already but for others leveling.
