Do you have any idea how many people use lag as an excuse in Titan? Have any idea how many times they use that excuse on him personally when they are fine in every other instance dungeon?

Doesn't take long to figure out how much that excuse has been used for Titan in all modes IN THIS CURRENT STAGE OF THE GAME. Maybe before 2.1 that was viable excuse, not anymore in the eyes of many.

That will always be the issue sadly. Having been through the hell myself I take the trusting road and believe them. One thing to notice is if they have the little red icon next to there name.
That also goes to show that lag is an issue in this game, and Titan is poorly designed because of it.
Before the patch there have been a few weird issues where it was like his cast time would speed up was also in other instances too. Yeah don't know if those people have the dc icon though.

They didn't. Thats how people knew they were lying through their teeth. And a very very big portion of them used the excuse WITHOUT having the icon. Saying they are lagging they log out...

I would hang out in the back, which people bitched about that too. It just sucks cause I feel I will never pass Titan because I'm always thinking am I going to lag when I get in there. If people did have the patience the buff ( I know the evil buff) you can take about 3 wol and survive

Buff doesn't stop people from standing in bad.

I know but it does lesson the pain. Doesn't mean you won't stop people from taking a landslide, it's not Benadryl it's not a cure all but buff can help if you lose a dps and being able to at least survive some WOL and possibly a bomb.

The amount of attempts i've done with buff is beyond me now. We burn him fast, but people JUST CANNOT SURVIVE POST HEART PHASE!

If someone is posting about how this fight is hard or easy - could you post your ping latency to the server? Without this information it can happen, that you are talking about different things.

I can't say, easy this fight, or not, I didn't try it. (Passed garuda ex just yesterday. Main problem was an 1 hour df queue or 1 hour waiting for tanks in pf). So I want this info to estimate my chances. My latency is about 140ms (120 if using wtfast or other similar soft).

So if that many people are using lag as an excuse it would suggest there could possible be lag, now I don't lag very much anymore, but it does still happen and when it does it makes fights like Titan unplayable.

I feel for you, folks.

You are asking a game company, of all things in the world, to actually acknowledge and correct a piece of bad game design. Sadly, the real world never works that way. IN my experience, it would be a first time. :P

As for me, am trying to play this game without doing accursed Titan or any of the other darn primals. Obviously I don't care about not getting to the Coils: that's the equivalent of raiding and I'm too old (and, indeed, savvy) to waste my time on raiding. There are a lot of less time consuming, less stressful and more fun things to do in this and other games. By the way, I like the 3 new instances.

I plan to dedicate again all my playing time to WoW the moment this game should become unplayable my way, but I hope this does not happen because along with the absurdities there is a lot of good going in FF14 ARR.
