New token/oil upgrade system screws healers

So to clarify, it's not the game that is "screwing" you, it's your static group.

This is what I'm taking from your post OP. Your static doesn't care about you.

The fair way to do this would be to give tokens to those who don't get any Allagan drops (whether that week or overall, depending on lovely RNG and the group mentality), so everyone can get something. If the group is giving tokens to DPS even if they're getting Allagan drops...then your static is to blame, not the game.

Its not a personal problem. If i wanted an oil, i'd get it.

But im a team player so i will choose to pass it to my awesome static dps. Knowing it would add way more to our progression party that way.

I can count on my hand the number of times my group has wiped on new content because of gear checks. And the times it did happen, mistakes were made.

Honestly though, if they feel the need to pass over healers in your group then you can just take that as a compliment. It simply means that they have full faith that you can do what is required of you without the need of any extra assistance.

Yep, your issue is with a system you have created. The only way for the game to "fix" this issue for you is to make healing more dependant on gear and less on skill. That I prefer to stay as it is.

Sounds like a personal problem. I'm pretty positive in my static we'd give it to the healers and the tanks.

Set Bonuses, gear is a bit boring for healers atm.

Then the problem is of your own making, you have the choice you just choose the option that screws you over and benefits everyone else.

I'm not going to say its right or wrong, but you can't play the martyr and then complain about the punishment after.

Being a martyr is part of being a whm

Btw in mmos that allows alloting gear.It has been very common for serious guilds to gear the dps first if they have choice. SE can choose to design their gear drops this way or make it fair like it was previously. Its not like this is a first. If you allow gear allotting for lockout raids then giving your dps the gear is optimal.
