are you using level appropriate gear or are you one of those types wearing endgame stuff in your teens?

If weapons didn't degrade so freakin fast, I'd be for the repair system. It's nice to pocket some extra change as a crafter when you see someone looking for repairs. The icon system could let you know if a repair is capable of being attempted by you. Other than that nice perk for crafters, I think the repair system is arbitrary and unneeded.
I agree, i just think it needs refinement for the casual players that can't find a player to repair, or dont have the time to lvl their crafting jobs... for example: NPC's that can repair to 100%... But i think doing that would defeat the purpose of players that can repair their own gear... which is why i thought having player repairs go to 120% would be good...If weapons didn't degrade so freakin fast, I'd be for the repair system. sighs... i hate repair system.....
Dance like you mean it !
For me, a crafter, sometime it kind of fun and entertain to walk around town and find people who need to repair stuff
But yeah, the current one is suck and not streamline much because if you fail to repair, you have to do whole process again.
And when you need to repair, you'll have to check which item to repair->remember it->switch class->move to item that you like to repair->press repair button-> and at this step you forgot that you don't have repair material!!! -> try to find material and back to step 1 again.... This kinda suck tho.
And for crafter, when I try to walk around town to repair for people, it take up to 60-70 item slots for carry everything that is a repair material...
And for fighter, it almost impossible to carry a lot of thing like this, cuz you have lot of battle gear already....
For me. If they make this repair thing more convenient to do for crafter and fighter, just keep it.
But if they don't have plan to do anything about this... just remove it. it suck
Yep, i repaired my silver scepter, did ONE leve -> 90% durability... and after other 3... 62% ( all this in less than 2 hours )
I don't know if this system was supposed to be a Gil Sink or what...but there are better ways to do gil sinks without compromising the attributes of players...
