Yea they used to say the same BS in FF11 and it turned out to be lies.
Maybe they should have just made glamour a PS4, PC exclusive feature and done it properly.
You can't. A feature like this cannot be given to only part of the user base like that. Also, anyone who knows how little memory the PS3 has and how game programming works knows how tight the memory is on the PS3 right now. Take Focus Targets on the PS3, they had to hide another element of the UI just to show them.
Yes you can, when its a visual difference, its easy to do, it just requires displaying a different model instead of the intended one. (which is basically what the game is doing anyway)You can't. The saddest part though is in a few years this game is going to be held back massively because of PS3, just like FF11 was.

I think you missed my point. You can't do it and leave a large chunk of your playerbase out of it. ESPECIALLY when your biggest user base, in this case JP players, are more likely to use the PS3 than PC. Also, showing a different skin isn't the issue. It's the ui information needed for the "simple" system people want that causes the memory issue.Yes you can, when its a visual difference, its easy to do, it just requires displaying a different model instead of the intended one. I won't claim to know in this case, but images, ie textures and such are likely put into Video Memory, not system memory. Whereas text would need to be held in System memory to be formatted and then pumped to the GPU and Video Memory.

You can, just SE won't, they could just say due to the PS3s limitations, the Glamour system can only be accessed through the PC or PS4 version.I think you missed my point. If players had such a big issue with that then they could either upgrade to a PS4 or PC.
