Point is, some people do like this sort of content and those that don't are free to pursue other gear.

Some people want to test their agility and tactics against bosses, some people want to test their patience and endurance. This is fine. We can both live together. We don't need to be demanding that the other side conform to our ideals when both are valid options.

You must be an avid buyer of lottery tickets.

No. But I don't condemn those who do.

Well, you know, unless they're actively harming someone through their hobby. Like spending on gambling instead of food for their kids. But that's not really a comparison to grinding FATES for, what has been about...a day and a half now sense the patch was released?

But the lottery is such a good test of your skill; it requires endurance and patience Gramul.

When did I say anything about my endurance and patience?

You claim, "some people want to test their patience and endurance" and yet the subject at hand has nothing to do with those virtues.

I wouldn't condone or cultivate an environment that encourages luck based rewards over dedication based rewards in what is essentially a skill vacuum; also known as FATE.

The subject is playing FATES against an RNG. How is that not a test of patience and endurance?

Bottom line: If you don't want to do it, you really don't have to. The game provides other ways to improve. This is good. It's providing players with routes that suit their own playstyles.
