You claim, "some people want to test their patience and endurance" and yet the subject at hand has nothing to do with those virtues.

I wouldn't condone or cultivate an environment that encourages luck based rewards over dedication based rewards in what is essentially a skill vacuum; also known as FATE.

The subject is playing FATES against an RNG. How is that not a test of patience and endurance?

Bottom line: If you don't want to do it, you really don't have to. The game provides other ways to improve. This is good. It's providing players with routes that suit their own playstyles.

I was a hardcore 11 player and this FATE grinding ia full retard. 11 grinds for relic emp and mythics were long and hard but each step, kill trial etc something was accomplished or at least had some challenge. This quest is just mindless and luck based.

No way defending FATE here. but its better than NPC > Load screen > NPC = relic.

I spend a lot of time optimizing my play, including all cooldowns and weaponskills, not just the base ones with no buffs you get at starting levels. It's quite a drastic difference.

There hasn't been a single step where it's been "NPC > Load screen > NPC = relic". The closest to that was the Zenith step, but for that you required 900 mythology tomestones, back when the cap was 300 for most people; that was 3 weeks of dungeon farming. So it was by no means less easy than this FATE... thing. So no, it is a fact it wasn't faster or easier. You can argue it's better because that's your opinion, but I think most will agree with... hmmm... no.

Hm.. interesting, please tell me what i want then, since i like it? And speaking of "fooling yourself", nothing in this Games does require Skill. That goes for most MMO's actually, since memorizing a set pattern hardly requires skill.

It appears you have taken offense to a differing opinion. I quoted someone else and replied to them, I still disagree with OP and don't like the content, but you are more than welcome to enjoy pushing your 1-2, don't feel threatened, the post wasn't directed to you. Just because you started the thread does not mean every post is directed at you, but you can continue to be upset that differing opinions are allowed to post in your thread however. I quoted someone who in their own post talking about what they liked, offered things they would have preferred to be doing, something someone who enjoyed the content 100% would not be considering. You posted that you thought it was all positive, therefore you are not one of the "some" I referred to who would really be enjoying doing something else.
