false. that assumes that people well only want to get one atma weapon. there are 9 jobs. plenty of people will want to get the atma weapon for each of the 9 jobs.

Please, 2.0 was a MMO and it was way better then 2.2 in terms of gear progression. It was just perfect, this patch only adds good game features and adjustments, but the rest is just timesink.
Also if you have to choose only 1 weapon then explain to me why we have multiple jobs. The game was designed so that average player should be able to fully gear 1 job, while skilled or nolife players could gear all the jobs. And well, all this stuff for a weapon that is not even close to the best of the game (that is just plain RNG). You need similar effort to make a Legandary in GW2, but when you get it that is and will always be the best weapon in the game.
Just go buy a Leviathan win.

Considering you can get 50 myth per 10 minutes in coil (1,2,4, or 5) That's 550 myth an hour if you have a competent group of like-minded players. Easily get as much myth as you want in a single day.
I wish the people that constantly whine and threaten to quit actually quit. More often than not they just continue to whine and threaten to leave repearedly.
Be glad it's not from a mob with a 10+ hour (earth time) respawn rate and a drop rate under 10% for the item you want. We got a tedious grind, yes, but it's sooooo much better than competing with people for a notorious monster that spawns every 10 hours with a 10% drop rate on the item and you may have no way of knowing when the last time of death was.
THAT was a huge time sink with RNG screwing. And I'm not even talking about Relic and Mythic weapons in FFXI, just a rare drop from a NM that was really good for level 60+. Or camping an area with widescan to get a certain NM with a crap drop rate on what you want to pop AND it wouldn't spawn for X amount of earth hours after you kill it? Haaaaaa.
And don't get me started on the Empyrean weapon grind. 1500 heavy metal plates and 3000 riftcinder from voidwatch NMs to get the higher level versions of the weapons. I never attempted any of it, not even getting the lowest versions of those weapons.

Why do you even play an mmo if you dont expect some kind of time sink. go attention whore elsewhere.
As for why im in this thread does any know if you have to do the atma phase for all relics or if its just the first time then the rest you can go straight to books?
can anybody be so kind to explain the step? so we can only do 4 book now (so only 9000), and there will be 5 book more next patch?
FFXIV : ARR all instance boss gameplay video can be found here..

I read it as, you only have 4 books to choose from at first. Once those are complete, you can do the other 5, i.e. you might not be able to load up on your primary stat or weapon damage, until you clear out some secondary ones first.
Isn't this what people wanted to do in open world? Waiting in a spot, waiting for something to pop up?We obviously have different definitions of work :/ Waiting in a spot for a fate to spawn whilest tabbing out, and having netflix running on half my screen while I run around spamming flash mindlessly doesn't really count as work to me. Just mind-numbing tedium I thought I'd gotten away from.... oh well, it is what it is. Let's not pretend it's hard though.
There were hundreds threads about it in the forums.
