    My problem isn't with mechanics...for me it is the community ._.
    I'm a person who usually has to struggle to get better so that means failing at first. So no body really wants me in their party. The only reason I even got to turn 4 in Coil was because I found like the ONE newbie friendly party in the month or so I waited. And I learned enough from it to know what I'm doing in T1 - T3. Though I'd like to try the non enrage mode sometime. But yeah, I get raged at for doing bad when it's my first time or I just never find a party to even do it. Or people rage quit after one wipe....
    It's why I've been procrastinating things for...a month or two. Like Ultima Hard mode. I LOVE part 1 of ultima in the Praetorium with Hydaelyn and the cinematicness of the fight. It's possibly my favorite boss in the whole game so far. But I've been afraid to do it on hard mode, extreme primals, coil and such because of the communites general hatred for first timers in their party z.z I only did Thornmarch because some friends went with me so I felt comfortable enough to at least try it. Same with CT lol. Idm that the game got kinda hard for me (took like a week to get decent at Titan HM. Got my relic a month ago and never looked back 8D), it's just I don't find many parties that won't have people ditching or kicking first timers. I'm not really complaining as much as ranting. People have every right to make their own parties. I just wish there was less pressure and stress from the end game community to be perfect lol
    So I'm HOPING these nerfs/this buff/whatever you want to call it will make the community less hateful towards newer members.
    "Not doing so well? Just let Echo stack a few times and you'll be alright :3"
    It's prolly just wishful thinking....but I can dream, at least x.x

    I know exactly what you mean! I find myself not playing end game, only because I don't want to bother the other players who'll see the noob as a burden.But it's not like I don't enjoy a challenge, I just don't like to read guides before hand (that's not my idea of fun) and I can be slow to learn but will get good with a patient team. I'm slowly finding more players to do end game with from my free company and via linkshells / forums / blogs. I did a run of Pharos Sirius finally last night with a group from the free company who answer my forum post about wanting to explore / learn the dungeons and not just clear them in a confused frenzy, or getting carried/dragged. But I totally feel your pain regarding duty finder. It's a shame and unfair that so many players are impatient on the duty finder, excluding new players who aren't willing / able to learn faster. They should be finding their own groups and I can't help but be angry at that. Sometimes it makes me want to join in spite even if I hold up the group, but then I think why bother / as if it will make a diff.

    I do hope the buffs will help and I can see what their purpose is, but there's a part of me that still has faith I will find a patient group to eventually to run coil / extremes with, and I'm sad we won't have the chance to tackle it at it's original difficulty one day. Saying there will be more difficult content doesn't apply because I'll never be using duty finder for the reasons stated, and therefore will always be only able to dabble at endgame when I can finally get a nice group together.

    The terrible mechanics is what makes the community worst imo. End game is like an assembly line where if a player fails, the line is broken and you have to start over. You have to know each and every step to succeed. In other games it's more forgiving so if you have someone that's not as good they can still get through and the party doesn't mind as much.

    lol I wouldn't do it out of spite but yeah. I feel really horrible if I'm the one holding the party back. Pharos Sirius is another I REALLY wanted to try because I heard it's really fun and challenging. But after reading horror stories of it in the forums I've...never even unlocked it to avoid duty rouletting it lol. So hard people just rage quit after a wipe or rage quit right at the beginning? Sounds like a drama filled time z.z;;
    As for reading guides and stuff I don't like too beforehand either. It doesn't really matter for me anyways. Seeing it/reading it isn't the same as experiencing it for me. Plus, as I have found out while doing so many dungeons and trials, people don't always follow the same tactic. Which is fun. It mixes things up and variety is the spice of life :3 So what I read is not always relevant entirely. I'm just happy with the new patch means NO ONE is good yet. So I won't feel so pressured to be perfect at everything. So I plan to do lots of the new content!

Well that and everyone has the right to play how they choose. It's just I'm afraid of being the one to make a mistake. For example I've done CT so much after feeling more confident thanks to friends that I, well, do it often. But at Thanatos where there's a million AoE indicators and AoE's without indicators (that big arc thing from the Nemesis that I get hit by randomly throughout the fight at times) it get's so hectic I always get hit at least a few times by Nemesis or AoE indicators covered by by a million animations. On unlucky nights sometime's it's often during that fight. Everytime I get hit I think to myself "I'm going to get kicked. Just another Dragoon that can't dodge..." x.x;;

    It's CT most players won't care enough as long as they beat it. If it's that bad, usually they leave rather than kick someone. You can't play afraid, you will most likely mess up more that way.

    Fights like Titan Ext are the ones that are really bad. You try to help someone out and you can end up in there for hours with nothing to show for it.

    HmHm, never been kicked in CT for anything or even raged at. I keep silent 99% of the time anyways 8D So idk why I keep panicking but I do lawl

    Yeah that's another reason why I wouldn't blame people for wanting experienced players only lol. I have fun all the time pretty much but even I would get annoyed if we spent 1-2+ hours getting nowhere. Titan HM was fun. By the end of the week after spending 2-3 hours a day failing at it everyday I was just annoyed with it. I wasn't mean to anyone ofc, but I wasn't having fun either 8D
