myth/soldiery caps

Why would it report the cap to the soldiery ? Different tomes, different cap. You won't suddenly get all your philo converted in myth and myth converted in soldiery (though I'd love it, 2k of each )

In the patch notes it says there will be an Npc that converts philosophy to myths. The ratio I'm unsure of.

You're missunderstanding something here i think. The cap has nothing to do with your current stones. The Cap only says that you can obtain stones. If the cap get's carried over, it could be that you have 0/2000 soldiery stones, but a cap of 300/450 (if it's the same variable and there is no reset) after the patch.
But well i don't think that will happen.

the reset is tuesday at 8:00 am GMT so yeah, you'll have 5 days to hit the cap if you want to
