    It's purely a math thing, there is no real AI behind linking.

    It's just a switch that if the monster can see/hear you attack a monster that is X levels below you he is allowed to join the fray. There is no familly, or pack mentallity present in the game like there was in 1.0 or almost every damn MMO that existed before this.

    That is NOT what the majority of people in this thread asked for. You are twisting the message of the community if you ignore the comments about open world content.

    I appreciate the difficulty of your job but please reconsider the message you're sending to the devs taking into account not only this thread but dozens of threads around the forum pleading SE to make the open world battles more interesting.

    Even in 1.0 every monster linked with everyone regardless of monster type.

    I would love to see a bit more personality in the every day overworld mobs. Not just FATE ones.
    Different species that attack each other (like in some FATEs) and getting to know their natural order and food chain, so to speak.

    Looked it up just now, the name of the FATE is "The Negotiators".

    If the it fails, nothing starts (I think).
    If it succeeds, "Hide and Seek" starts. If that succeeds, "The Coeurl King" starts.

    mobs behavior from 1.0 still in 2.0, only thing had been change are the mobs vs mobs behavior only appear in certain FATE, not OW anymore

    The whole mechanics was trashed thanks to people QQing about goats following them(i was complaining too) but scrapping the entire system was stupid as hell.

    All they had to do was just re input the codes(remove the goat follow) and it will make the game a bit better.
