Which is why I stopped playing Rift after about a month and a half.

I agree with Reika for the most part, except about the AH. Seriously, Market Wards function as a crappier version of it in every possible way, at this point, so they might as well cut their losses and put in a system that doesn't reek of donkey crap. (But keep the retainers -- I like them.) Also, a search GUI would be ideal, but a text search command is better than no search command at all. I figure that's a bit more in the line of, "Could we get a way to find people please?" rather than going, "OMG MAKE THIS FFXI RIGHT NOW!" I also want chocobos, but only because I'm getting sick of running everywhere; that doesn't necessarily mean I want a FFXI clone.

I wonder -- do the Japanese forums have this level of trolling and incessant whining on it?

They cut their FFXIV discs and post pictures of it online. What do you expect?

Hmm from what I know looking at JP side of the forums it's pretty much quiet LOL only responses, additions that gets on their are pretty well written stuff. Doesn't mean 0 trolls, I see couple in there, but nothing like this side w I'm sure all the JP trolls are trolling on 2CH more lol

I hope JPs do dramatic shit, because we're not overly dramatic, besides having dramatic trolls. Honestly reading the japanese forums, we all want the same crap, so they should just give it to us. If they can't fail on Crystal tools and they way they develop things, its a slow engine, regardless of how slow/fast it takes to program things. Crystal tools sucks.

If market wards are removed, retainers are basically just banks, though.

Considering what little you played of FFXI, I don't really think your opinion has any weight.

I wouldn't do that to the CE version, you know this game if it does fail (AND I HOPE NOT) it can become the first FF that got the worst rating on every region market. And can also turn around and become the first MMO to go into sh** hole and come back and become one of the top 3 games in MMO history...

It's all up to the YoshiP and his dev's team work + all our feed backs supporting them (and hopefully they listen to all the good ideas we all have in here...)
