caped is the way to go, and the polls are so far showing it. caps have nothing to do with inventory any more, if u played ffxi u know they added ways for gear to level down with the players and that works perfectly.

and caps don't remove freedoms, it adds freedoms. and if didn't well then shackle my ass and hall me away.

In this case you are right. If you would want to do the mid-rank dungeon in it's prime which is by playing at recommended level, these are the outcomes:

Without cap = "Hey, I don't want to clear this dungeon so easy, but

1. The class(es) I would like to play as is(are) fully capped.
2. I don't want to play with the ones I have at mid-rank.
3. I don't have any mid-rank class, only higher ones."

With cap = "I can choose any class I want to play as that is either mid-rank or over."

so who gets hurt more by it?

First one has a point but I don't really get the second one.

then if all your classes are ranked play the 50 dungeon why waste you time with a rank 25 dungeon.

its simple actualy, if ALL your jobs over over 50 you shouldnt care about lower dungeons

you should be asking for more higher dungeons instead

Why shouldn't they? It's 1 of the 2 major contents we have gotten in 9 months and they should not enjoy it how it was supposed to?

if you are 50 running a 25 through the dungeon you ARE ruining the challenge and learning experience for them. you cut out the whole point of GROUP content by having them clear things without an actual group. If you just want to be run through dungeons by higher level ppl thats lame.

if YOU want to do it at 30, do it at 30
