All I see in Patch 2.2 is a lot of additions to aesthetics (hairstyles, mounts, vanity, dailies) and the same amount of end-game content we got in the past (less than 2.1 but equal to launch).
Basically, it seems that end-game content isn't the focus of Patch 2.2 since they seem to make a "copy-paste" of the first 3 months of the game (before patch 2.1). The main difference is that a lot more people are "end-game ready" starting in Patch 2.2 than there was at release (because of leveling, long main story, learning the mechanics, etc). After 6 months, I had hoped that the development team would have considered that but they are still "solidifying the base" for newcomers.
I guess that we will have to wait until the first expansion to see if the end-game finally drives this game forward.
