As long as the base gear and the gear being copied occupy the same number of gear slots, you can copy the appearance of any gear equippable by your current class or job.

I camped the shroud for weeks to get enough mantels for the complete armor
and now that?! Nobody can tell me, it's a technical limitation as the armor itself
is a chestpiece and could just overwrite hand legs and feet in their appearance.

Well, good to know that was all for nothing.

I brought up that concern on my FC website too, because every tank stuck in Darklight or caster stuck in a Cowl will be similarly annoyed.

You also don't know when to use PSA as well.

That kinda sucks for people that put the effort on the armor, like you did. But detailed implementation of glamours was all up in the air so there was nothing, even a hint that you'd be able to do what you wanted. Best thing you can do is send them feedback on this system and hopefully they'll ease the requirements like they've done with other parts of the game before.

Just doesn't make sense to me. I agree that it was never promised and for that very reason i composed several other awesome looking vanity sets for both my
PLD and WAR.

My reasoning behind this is not to vent my frustration since it is but a minor annoyance but there
are many people on my server and i'm sure on many others as well who put a lot of time into camping the shroud for
vanity reasons. I just want to save those people time.

Had a look at the first page and didn't find anything. Just had another look and still couldn't find anything.
Also: A public service announcement (PSA) or public service ad, are messages in the public interest disseminated by the media without charge, with the objective of raising awareness...
I've seen the word used the same way i did multiple times but if you feel offended by it i can change the title.
