    I was wondering the same thing...what is the point to introduce very low level gears (which seems to be there only for their appearance) when they'll make them impossible to use with vanity system?

    Well if we go by the screenshots and your interested, the WHM wep from leviathan is one handed.

    you'll probably beable to overwrite teh relic with the mogwand. The letter didnt' say anything about one/hand vs two hands, only how many GEAR slots it takes up. All weapons occupy ONE gear slot.

    Technically, a staff occupies two slots, as you cannot equip an offhand with it.

    Mogwand can still be used cos they both occupy one slot of your weapon. You just can't equip a shield.
