    Ah, if that's so, then it's you guys' fault by using words with multiple undermeanings =D
    I just responded to "Do you want Instanced Dungeons to Impose a CAP (Meaning a restriction in level that would cause you to run a dungeon as a r30 rather than a r50) on players entering?" understanding that you would do the dungeon at R30 without the possibility to join with your R50 class.

    If that's so, then let it come, since there's no negative side about it, other than XP earnings which will be lower. I have to say that I don't know how it worked on XI since I didn't play it enough. It's a good concept and I'd like to see it.
    Anyway, the main point is: I think that everybody has the rights to do and enjoy every dungeon discovering its secrets and stories, and if they are too high and there's no cap control they have to understand that it's not boring or a piece of cake, because they are too high-leveled.

    I liked how you put up Aion as an example. That game was nuts to level 40! Then it got me annoyed because it was too PvP oriented.

    I think there should not be a cap.

    Example:
    Yay! I just hit 25, now I can run the dungeon! Man, it is so effing fun .

    ..6 ranks later...

    Boo.. I just hit 31(if 30 was cap).. now I need to wait 14 more ranks till I can do the r45 dungeon or any dungeon for that matter.

    I see why people want a cap, I just feel that r31 - r44 people will be left in the cold while the rest of us are having fun.

    Which in the end people will say " R30 dungeon is way to easy" then people will complain and complain for a level cap till they get it and then when they do they'll complain that they can't steamroll through it because its to hard for them. in then end neither will be "ok" to the Community.

    That's just how I observed this community right now. Flame me all you want for it, but its just how I feel

    So do the R30 dungeon from rank 31-44, there's nothing stopping you. All that happens would be that whenever you are in the dungeon, you are set back to level 30.

    Anyway, I think capping/level-sync would be a good idea. Normally I don't mind the idea of escorting lowbies through dungeons on high-level characters, but since this is a multi-class game, I think there would be a whole bunch of self-roflpwning for loot to use on your lower level classes.
    While this would make it possible for higher level players to participate, it would create its own set of problems. For example, as TheVedis has said, it would likely take months for SE to develop level-synch for this game.

    And considering the fact that one of this game's unique characteristics is cross-class abilities, they'd have to figure out some way to handle it. If I go in as a r50 Thm, I assume I won't be able to use my r50 Thm skills. But can I use my r50 Conj skills on my Thm? Or should I be unable to use any skills greater than r30? Will I have to buy and equip r30 weapons? Will I have to buy and equip an entire set of r30 gear? If so, wouldn't that create an entirely new set of inventory space problems? And if I suddenly couldn't use half my Thm skills, my macros would be rendered useless. So now I'd have to make an entirely new set of macros for a lower level Thm. (This may change, but) Raise/Resurrect is r38. If I can't equip that spell, would anybody that dies have to return to the nearest aetheryte, which is outside the dungeon?

    They can fix all that stuff, but it will likely take months to do so. I'd prefer that we get the content now. If players want to do it on easy mode, they can. If players want to be challenged, they can. And if SE wants to implement level-synch, they can do that at some point in the future. But I'd prefer to have something to do to keep me playing the game until they implement it.

    Lol what? Nothing stopping me? I was doing a "what if" we could NOT do a r25 dungeon if we where passed the cap.

    Yeah, but the topic of the poll is in regards to a level cap that works like the level sync in FF11 for BCNM battles.

    People will always complain. I just feel there would be less complaints if that once you hit rank 25 you could always do a dungeon, as opposed to a bracket of 25-30 and 45-50. I think having the ability to do a dungeon for 25 ranks is > 10 ranks.
