Some people got me wrong on titan EM (and why I rant about a possible "beat ifrit or gtfo of levi"). His mechancs are simple enough and I have no problem about the tables, landslide (even 5x.. Should I take one I just run under him, eat it and come back in place. Lag have at least this one advantage). The whole fight would actually be boring easy if it wasn't for the plumes.

I can avoid plumes. Once, twice.. pre-heart. When the heart dies (if my party doesn't wipe in between..), game freezes for one second and I fall on the ground at 1st plumes. It's not a matter of computer or anything. Just plain lag as my internet has to go through earthen fury's animation and VFX, and then adds, then bombs (I usually don't see them before they explode, I try to watch for my mates to see safe spot), then landslide, then... nothing after that.

It's driving me crazy to te point I'm considering buying a merc un only for that and never bother again about that crappy fight

relics were supposed to be the top tier from the beginning, they are meant to scale as well according to Yoshida.

No they were not.

Relics weapons were meant to complete your AF set and be the primary weap for Coil. Turns 1-5 was designed around the assumption you have relic + full DL. It was just another stone in the path of progression nothing more.

Relics along with Allagan weapons will be obsolete and the Leviathan weapons will probably be the introductory weap going into coil2.

Relics.. "+1" or "Zenith", w/e people want to call it will be upgradeable aaaall the way up. So "Zenith" is the current Stage, but not the last one. There was an Interview about that actually... have to find that as well..

No, Look up what Zenith means. Relics are not getting upgraded anymore, they are just a stepping stone to the next weapon like all other weapons and gear in this game.

Yes they were. Yoshi said before that Relics would always be upgradable to be with current content because they're required a quest chain/ were a bit of work.

For some reason, I expect this fight to be like fighting Plesioth in Monster Hunter. Water lazers and hip checks of doom.

I guess i need to bring my zingore weps or kirin dual swords.
Lol anyways hopefully they implement the water resistance materia being actually helpful cuz it'd be interesting if it actually helped slotting some in for the fight.
Cuz i bet the wep stats will include water resistance 10+ or something..... Just like the other primal weapons.

Relic will be upgraded at least 2 more times to complete the 4 types of tomes. They will remain second highest ilvl. Until the expansion.

Give or take a few days for normal mode levi then maybe a week for levi ex. Cuz once an FC/ someone posts a video on youtube and puts a link in their new thread with the headings

People gonna watch then the whole surprise and learn feel goes " down the drain " lol
And then you'll see ppl saying watch vid, know fight etc. and with everyone mostly decked out in ilvl 90 stuff
Leviathan ex better require higher ilvl than ilvl90 cuz it'll just be the occasional zerg rush cuz you have no reason to gear up as the fight is do able with the gear u have already.
So i hope the fight requires most ppl to get better gear via tome grinding or getting the new coil stuff/ new crafted gear cuz if they don't all the new content will be on farm for most fcs within the 1st month :/ .
