Harder to enjoy ARR as a 1.2X-era FF14 player?

I guess people will just be overly defensive about things they want. If the old game 1.23 or beyond was so great, ARR wouldn't have been made

If I remember correctly, one reason was the Engine which caused some restrictions. Not 100% sure though.
