    I'm not sure if we can assume their height in game is what their height in lore is. Often times in MMOs they need to make the bosses exceptionally big so that everyone in a raid can see and easily target them, no matter what race they might be. Which I believe is exactly what happened in the cases you've mentioned, if the moogles we fight along with Good King Moggle were normal sized it would be very difficult to keep track of them and tell them apart.

    lol, I was actually being serious about that. Not sure about the 2.0 fight as I've not seen it there, but in the 1.0 GKMM fight the Bard Puksi Piko the Shaggysong had the ability Maxi-moogle.

    Went and checked it out: Abilities: Maximoogle - Single cast on moogle that increases its size and make it immune to all attacks. The moogle will then move slowly towards the player with highest Bard hate, dealing high damage on touch; The King only cast the spell on himself and chooses a random target for the attack. In 1.0 I remember the order was to run if a moogle swelled up with Maximoogle.
