    As for Crystal Tower why would they add a new section and give us lower ilvl gear? Game content is currently back on track so there is no reason 2.3 CT will be lower ilvl gear. The only reason I guess you would say that is because Crystal Tower was delayed at launch.
    I suppose it's back on track with the original plan in that we have turns 1-5 and we have LoA right now, but they are obviously changing course, so to speak, by adding turns 6-9 at this time rather than continuing CT. The original plan would have been CT -> Coil -> Ct -> Coil, etc. with jumps of 10 ilvls each time. I think they prefer the way it turned out or at least want to stick with it so that Coil doesn't stagnate for 9 months (instead of 6). It seems likely that the next iteration of CT will offer gear that's 10 ilvls below turns 6-9. Since it would be entirely ridiculous for them to add more ilvl 90 gear from new content 3 months from now, I would bet on 6-9 offering ilvl110 and CT2 giving ilvl100. I could be entirely wrong, but unless they plan on making the next iteration of CT actually difficult, I wouldn't bet on it providing gear that's better than coil 6-9 (which should be reasonably difficult).

    I just can't believe that SE would invalidate just about EVERYTHING in this game by removing the cap, if it's true, everything below coil would just be annihilated, if u can be ilvl 90 in a week, what is the point in the whole game..... How does this incitate ppl in buying the game when 95% of the content will become trivial...

    gosh, i really don't wanna beleive it.

    Nothing changes at all really. Currently, you can be ilvl 70 in a week or less and then you grind to get to ilvl 90. In 2.2, you'll be ilvl 90 in a week and then grind to get to ilvl 110. After that, CT2 will likely be ilvl 100 gear for people to grind while also trying to get to 110 through BC 6-9. So, basically, it's the system we have now with new gear and new content for the people that are already ilvl 90..

    Do you seriously believe more than a few percent of the player base is going to spam themselves to full i90 in one week?

    Wrong. No one farms DL gear anymore because the i70 crafted gear goes for bum prices, less than 20k/ea. You can get that instantly and jump to Turn 2/4 in 2.2. Five minute kills, quick 50 myth and gear drops. Anyone with half a brain will be able to hit i90 within 24 hours. For Turn 1/2, you could even go in as i60 and the echo buff will make your stats boost to i70 tier. This is why they need some kind of lockout in place because you don't want people to un-sub for 6 months, save money, come back and catch up with the rest in 24 hours.

    It seems some people in this thread just assumed their iLvl90 gear would be the best gear forever.

    That's not how a progressive MMO works.

    as of now the plan is to gradually increase the ilvl standard slowly through Major Update.

    Normal content ilvl is also increase per Major Update as well. For 2.1 the standard ilvl was increased from ilvl 50 into ilvl 55 for normal content.

    2.2 will also raise the standard normal content into ilvl 56+, the possible range increase would be a ilvl 60 for normal content in 2.2. Most likely each major update will increase normal content by 5 ilevel per Major update.

    Coil T6-9 is also have higher tier gear which most likely will be the same ilvl as the AF2 Gears introduced in 2.2 which will require the Tier 3 Tomes.

    in 2.2 ilvl 90 will no longer be endgame level gear but the minimum standard to enter T6-9 for the new endgame gear which will be at a higher ilvl.

    Funny how people want to limit the content they play because they're afraid of "casual" people gearing up will affect what "they" do, if you run a static and have a fc none of the stuff stated above should affect you because you don't play with them. I'd like to see people clear T5 in the duty finder so the can spam for a t6 group to affect your static party oh the horror.

    First of all new people to coil will have to learn mechanics, Even in i90 gear a bad player is a bad player meaning they still will not progress no farther then they already have.

    on the topic of people unsubbing that would be a small % as the ones who do are i90 before 2.2 rush all the content and have nothing else to do, Myself I still tend to help people learn fights (within my fc) as in ex primals and walk people thru coil in chat helping to better the people I play with so I have more option to form parties in those said things that way I'm not stuck waiting for the people I normally play with to get on.
