lol, once again, so much for "working as intented".
lol, once again, so much for "working as intented".
Working as intended never ever means that they won't decide later on to change it. It simply means that at the moment they said that it was working as intended. It is in no way shape or form a statement about any possible changes or balance tweaks. They said the same thing about the changes to Dark Devices, and lo and behold working as intended still ended up being patched out later. Just because it's working as intended does not mean it's permanent.

As far as I can recall, the response was that they didn't consider it an "exploit", and didn't have any immediate plans to change it.
That's quite different from "working as intended".
Not planning any immediate change means it won't be hotfixed in a day or two. It does not mean they won't change it ever. And if they did indeed destroy the enrage method this brings up a larger issue. One where we can't believe anything SE says or promises. To me it just sets a nasty precedent of lying to the consumer base and making changes they said they weren't going to make, in secret.

They said they considered it "not an exploit". This is not the same as "working as intended". In fact, they very clearly said that the "enrage" method was NOT an intended way to complete Turn 2, but that it wasn't considered an exploit (and thus, not bannable) to employ it. They also said they had no plans to change it at the time but never said they'd never change it.

Jeez Square Enix are such jerks! Then why would they post something LIKE THIS and then screw us over!?!?!

Hmm unless you can provide a different quote, they never said "enrage method was NOT an intended way to complete Turn 2." So not sure what you're going on about. They said they considered it "not an exploit". This is not the same as "working as intended". In fact, they very clearly said that the "enrage" method was NOT an intended way to complete Turn 2, but that it wasn't considered an exploit (and thus, not bannable) to employ it.
