Hmm unless you can provide a different quote, they never said "enrage method was NOT an intended way to complete Turn 2." So not sure what you're going on about. They said they considered it "not an exploit". This is not the same as "working as intended". In fact, they very clearly said that the "enrage" method was NOT an intended way to complete Turn 2, but that it wasn't considered an exploit (and thus, not bannable) to employ it. They also said they had no plans to change it at the time but never said they'd never change it.

Awesome if they changed it. It is a great fight for teams to learn how to communicate and work together before harder turns of coil.

Took them a while lol. Now everybody do the rot. Also don'w worry too much soon on patch 2.2 you can get the echo buff and probably do the enrage again
I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.
So can we confirm or deny without a doubt that the enrage method is no longer viable and has been made impossible to heal through?

Well if so a lot of people just got screwed over.... I'll check and see if they did, haven't done CoB on my other account. Ewww 36min update. I prefer passing rot over the enrage method, because it takes longer to do. But there are a lot of people that just don't get it, Even with Voice Chat people have issues passing rot.
This is what I don't get The DEV team posted about this about a month or so ago and pretty much said it was ok. Why would they Buff it now when 2.2 is around the corner?

What they said is that it is not an exploit, and that there are no immediate plans to change it. If it was an exploit, it would have been fixed long ago. "Working as intended" and "not and exploit" don't translate to "We won't do anything about it".And if they did indeed destroy the enrage method this brings up a larger issue. One where we can't believe anything SE says or promises. To me it just sets a nasty precedent of lying to the consumer base and making changes they said they weren't going to make, in secret.
Exactly. Way too many people read one thing and assume a million other things. Then they get all angry that their assumptions didn't prove true. That's on them. Not the devs.
Posting that proves NOTHING. It wasn't an exploit, so you weren't going to be banned, and at that exact moment in time they had no plans to change it. That's literally all it meant. It was not a promise to never change it. It was never a promise of anything except that you wouldn't get banned for doing it. Players should honestly have seen this one coming.

Oh my god you are so right mergadeth ! I think this is proof that SE's developpers are eating babies and participating in an alien invasion too !And if they did indeed destroy the enrage method this brings up a larger issue.
