Why not an ingame damage tracker?

Well on my server I never noticed that much elitism or bad behaviour until end game, even then not as bad as I see in this game. I always tried to help other players, specially if I notice they been shouting for awhile, but that's just me. To me this game is WoWified, so perhaps that is a factor as to me seeing more bad behaviour. I say let them give you a personal parser, if you are using a regular parser then be nice and discuss how a player could improve in /tell with them or keep it to yourself. I think alot of people do not like being talked down to in front of everyone else, it shows no tact to do that.

So much going on here, WoWified, most popular mmo ever had to do a couple things right, and you typing this, plus your undieing love for XI, puts you in a "special" category in my eyes. People don't like to be talked down to, well kids don't like being hit, but parents do that to curve their behavior, maybe someone telling you your dps is about half of what it needs to be, but your gear is above where it needs to be for the current content, you might rethink how you are doing things. Unlike XI this game requires positioning, watching for procs, and situational awareness to be able to dps, not like XI where you farm gear endlessly, download an addon they don't approve, copy and paste someone else's script into it, then sit back and hit a couple macros that handle all your gearswaps abilities and buffs for you while you watch your Gilmore Girls on the Netflix until it's time to lot on even more gear you will have to write into said script so you can be ready for your next fight.
