If they could have chocobos and airships and mail systems they would, scrapping this game and making a new one will only delay it for longer than it would be to implement it.

Its not that they dont want them in or choose not to, its just their priorities are different than ours, and they've had trouble in more areas than they expected.

No new game is going to fix that and it'd be silly to think it would.

But you're viewing it like a whole new project is going to fix everything, what if they do that and have more troubles? lol People said the exact same thing about XI a few years back "Just start a new one!" because of spaghetti code and this is the result.

There is much more to the fix than just auto attack, even if it doesn't seem like it right now. Right now all the stats are very "broken", they dont do much and they're sorting out this also.

There's much, much more broken and outdated with this game beyond stats and a combat system. They don't even have the game engine and server infrastructure done properly. I swear, every time the devs make another post regarding this game's status, it's like we're taking another step back towards Alpha.
